Company Phone Policy
Only for full-time employees
Lyquix offers full-time employees the option to get a company mobile phone. This is intended primarily as an employee benefit.
Number and Device
The employee has the option to port and use their own number. It is understood that the employee is allowed to take their number to another contract at any time.
Lyquix may assign a device, or offer options to the employee based on pricing and market availability. It is understood that Lyquix is the owner of the device. Typically, devices with less than two years of use are not replaced or upgraded. Upon replacement of a device, Lyquix management may sell or transfer it to the assigned employee.
The employee is responsible for the good care of the device. Lyquix will repair or replace devices that become defective during regular use and show normal wear and tear. However, the employee will be responsible for repairing or replacing a defective device if it shows signs of misuse, abuse, or negligence, such as scratches, dents, broken parts, inadequate use, unauthorized maintenance, or alterations. Management will consider on a case-by-case basis whether Lyquix will replace or repair devices damaged during force-majeure events.
The employee has the option of bringing their own device. It is understood that the employee retains ownership of it, and is responsible for its caring and maintenance.
Usage
Personal use of the device and service is allowed. Lyquix will cover the cost of the service up to the limits detailed below. Consumption above the following limits will be deducted from the employee's paycheck. Lyquix management may decide on a case-by-case basis to deduct a smaller amount than the actual overage or waive it completely.
- Unlimited domestic minutes and texts
- Up to 4GB of domestic data usage per month
- International usage is not covered
- Purchases are not covered
